Steven Christiano, 55, of Leddys Lane PA killed in crash

A stone wall collision killed a Pennsylvania man and severely wounded his passenger early Friday morning in Hillsborough. Police said Steven Christiano, 55, of Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, was driving south on River Road (County Road 625) near the Basilone Bridge when he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the wall shortly after midnight.

When police arrived, they saw smoke coming out of the engine and found Christiano unconscious and his passenger, a 51-year-old woman, with a leg injury. Christiano died at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, while his passenger received treatment at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
