Sean Terwilliger, 40, victim of fatal PA semi-truck crash

Trailer-Trailer Crash Sean Terwilliger Killed

A tragic accident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike claimed the life of a man on Friday. The man, Sean Terwilliger, 40, from Allentown, was inspecting a load on his Ford utility truck, which he had parked on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of I-476 in Montgomery County. The accident happened between Quakertown and Lansdale, shortly after a construction zone. A tractor-trailer driver, who was not paying attention to the road, swerved off his lane and hit Terwilliger, who was standing behind his truck. The tractor-trailer also scraped the utility truck before coming to a halt. The southbound lanes were closed for several hours due to the accident. Pennsylvania State Police identified Terwilliger on Monday and said they are still investigating the case. They have not yet filed any charges against the 31-year-old tractor-trailer driver from Michigan.
