A man from Little Falls lost his life in a tragic workplace accident on Wednesday morning. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported that Hector Gonzalez Zelaya, 39, was working at a firewood plant on 233rd Street in Fort Ripley Township. He was operating a firewood processing machine when he became trapped inside it. His co-workers found him in this dire situation and alerted the deputies around 10:30 a.m. The first responders arrived at the scene and tried to extricate him from the machine and revive him.
