Route 670 Fairfield NJ Accident Hartley Pernell Killed

A passenger died in a single-vehicle accident in Cumberland County on Sunday night. The accident occurred when the driver of the car, Pamela Herring, 57, from Millville, failed to maintain control of her vehicle and crashed into two trees on Route 670 in Fairfield. The accident happened around 9:55 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police. Hartley Pernell, 60, from Bridgeton, who was in the car with Herring, suffered fatal injuries and passed away. Two other people who were also in the car, a 43-year-old woman from Bridgeton and a 45-year-old man from Berlin, sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
