Brighton Ave NJ Accident  Georginia Stelman Killed

A tragic accident on Brighton Avenue claimed the life of a Wall woman on Wednesday night. The woman, Georgina M. Stelman, 40, was waiting for a friend outside her home when a car hit her. The accident occurred around 8:24 p.m. on Dec. 6, near Romano Boulevard. Wall police arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. They learned that the driver of the car was a 64-year-old woman from Oakhurst (Ocean Township). She was driving a 2012 Honda Pilot eastbound on Brighton Avenue when she lost control and struck Stelman. Wall Township Emergency Medical Services transported Stelman to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. However, Stelman succumbed to her injuries and passed away about three hours later.
